Which products help skin to look younger?

Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn from the United States claims that healthy diet helps your skin look younger.

First of all he recommends to minimize sugar.

The diet should be based on beef, chicken, fish, vegetables, fruits and the following products:

Chicken eggs

Regularly eating eggs, according to the expert, stimulates the production of collagen - a protein, the amount of which is associated with such skin characteristics as elasticity and strength. In addition, eggs are a source of Vitamin A, which provides the skin with a healthy color.

Tomato paste

Tomato paste is believed to be more useful than fresh tomatoes. When eating tomato paste, much more lycopene is absorbed. Lycopene is an antioxidant that protects the body from harm caused by free radicals and also reduces the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases, prevents diabetes, helps reduce cholesterol and prolongs skin health.

Dark chocolate

Not all types of chocolate are good for the body, it is better to choose those with a lot of natural cocoa. Such chocolate provides the body with flavonoids, which enhance the effect of P-vitamins along with ascorbic acid, reduce the fragility of blood vessels and protect the skin from the damaging effects of solar radiation.

Green tea

Anthony Yuon considers green tea to be an effective “beauty product”, but he advises that one should drink not tee in teabags, but real green tea. This tea contains polyphenol epigallocatechin (EGCG), which helps protect the skin from harmful solar radiation.

The expert believes that shrimps contain large amount of Vitamin E which provides skin protection from damage and improves its ability to regenerate.
