July 21, 2019  12:16

A glass of wine helped 25-year-old Lauren Firenza from Nottingham detect a malignant neoplasm.

According to presses, while drinking wine during dinner with friends, Lauren surprisingly felt a painful itch in her hand and on her neck. At first, she didn’t pay attention to it, but a month later, she felt more itches after drinking alcohol again.

Lauren went to a doctor. After a checkup, doctors detected a malignant lump (Hodgkin’s lymphoma) in her left lung. Moreover, the disease was diagnosed in the final and fourth stage. It turns out that itching after use of alcoholic drinks is one of the symptoms of lymphoma.

Lauren had to undergo chemotherapy for three months. Fortunately, the treatment was effective, and doctors managed to eliminate the lump. The woman has to undergo chemotherapy two more times.
