A 3-year-old girl from Texas survived after a knitting needle penetrated her brain.
The girl was jumping on the bed and pretending the giant needle was a wand, but suddenly she fell and the needle went through her mouth and penetrated her brain. The girl was rushed to the hospital where she had scans showed the needle had reached her brain, the Daily Mail reported.
The doctors managed to take the needle out. It turned out she did not suffer major injuries and the doctors called her “the luckiest in the world”. She was discharged from hospital two weeks later.
