Turkish bread is the most unhealthy breakfast: it contains too many carbohydrates which dramatically increase blood glucose, said Australian nutritionist Susie Burrell.
According to her, 100 grams of pita contains about 60-80 grams of carbohydrates, Daily Mail reported.
Sweet crispy cereal is another unfortunate option for breakfast, as they contain very little fiber, and they will not be able to saturate a person for a long time. According to a specialist, such flakes are especially harmful for children, as they teach them to eat sweets in the morning.
As a useful alternative to sweet cereal, the nutritionist suggested eating granola or sugar-free cereal. If desired, they can be slightly sweetened by adding a little honey or berries. Also a good choice for breakfast, the expert considers toasts with fried eggs, vegetables and bacon - the latter should be consumed with whole grain bread, as it contains a lot of fat.
